This week, we worked on letter "L." We used fine motor skills and worked on letter identification to make letter sticker collages. We learned the nursery rhyme, Mary Had a Little Lamb, and made mini books so that we can teach our families the nursery rhyme at home. We also used clear plastic wrap, and experimented with primary colors to create neat lollipop crafts! Lastly, connecting school and home, families helped students create collages exhibiting things that they love. Then, students had a chance to show and share them with our class. It was very special!

Preschoolers learned about two of the five food groups on My Plate: fruits and vegetables. Mrs. Wright and her puppet, Mr. Food, taught students all about how fruits and vegetables will help us grow and be strong, and to fill half of our plate with fruits and vegetables. Then, we discussed our favorites, and sorted fruits and vegetables on My Plate. We can't wait to learn about the other food groups next time at wellness enrichment! |
