Throughout the month, we learned abut teeth and how to take care of our teeth through fun, hands-on activities!
One of our pre-K math superpowers is SORTING! Sorting involves separating objects into groups according to their similarities. Sorting can also be thought of as matching two or more objects. We can sort objects by color, size, or function. What can you sort at home? Some ideas are: buttons, beads, food, coins, utensils, bows and clothing. For letter "M", students had fun sorting M&M's at a math learning center!
The past two weeks, we have been working on letter "M"!

During art special with Mrs. Sweet, we had fun using red and white paint to stamp hearts for Valentine's Day! We re-used toilet paper tubes to make the heart shapes to stamp with.
We have been working on identifying and writing letter "J", and knowing the sound that it makes!
