For literacy, we matched uppercase and lowercase letters on plastic eggs. We learned how to write an upper case and lower case Ee, and wrote them on envelopes. Then, we drew a picture of something that begins with Ee to put inside our envelopes. We also read Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss, and used our listening ears to find rhyming words. Our Ee books included words like: eagle, egg, elephant, Eddie Elf, easel, and envelope. We always work on writing our name, and identifying letters in our letter of the week books.
