For Valentine's Day, preschoolers made special "LOVE" hand print signs for our families. Students made valentines for our pre-K buddies at the Bucks Hill Pre-K at the Annex in Waterbury, a class that we are partnered with this year. During art enrichment with Mrs. Sweet, we stamped hearts on heart-shaped paper using toilet paper tubes. At the art learning center, we also made coffee filter hearts, which look so pretty in our classroom windows. Mrs. Greenwood, a community volunteer, read us a special Valentine's Day story. We worked on "I love..." writing prompts. Children were very excited to "mail" valentines to their friends, and open valentine cards at home. We learned and sang some valentine songs (see links below). I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day!!
