We always remember to start our letters at the top! Mr. Smiley face is always at the top of the page, reminding us where to begin.
To write the letter "P":
1. Start at the top.
2, Big line down.
3. Jump back to the top.
4. Little curve to the middle.
Students participated in many hands-on learning activities to help learn letter "P", and support math, literacy, social emotional, creative, and fine motor development. We did math, science, and art with pumpkins. Thank you very much to the Paletsky family for donating all the pumpkins! Students worked on fine motor skills by decorating Mr. Potato Head, and making pasta necklaces. At the dramatic play center, students participated in purposeful play activities at the pretend pizza restaurant. Prekindergarteners even got to wear pajamas to school for letter "P" week!
